Default New Wolverine

Just bought a brand new 04 Wolverine for the wife. What should I do to it before we start riding it? I rode it in the yard for the first time yesterday and it seems to run hot. Could this bike be two lean for where I live? I live in central Ohio. Has anybody changed the jetting on this quad that lives in Ohio? If so what did you change? Any suggestions about this quad would be great. I know that I want to get skid plates, 424 select, and maybe a aftermarket exaust evetually.

I can't imagine the machine being "too lean", Keep in mind the engine is breaking in at this point. As far as mods, I highly recommend the 424 kit. White Bros E system exhaust with 9 discs works well for plenty of torque and noticeable improved overall performance.

I only put them on the front. Got the dual rate w/o rezzys. It makes a world of difference. I couldn't be happier. The ride is comfy and it soaks up bumps like nuthin. I ordered them direct from WorksPerformance. They're nice folks to deal with. I will get a rear one sometime but my wife kinda inherited the Wolverine and I'm concentrating on the Warrior. Just put a new set of Titan AT489's on the front and tomorrow I'll mount up the new rears.
