I have just bent my Warrior axle. Has anyone tried to straighten them, if so how ? Can anyone recommend a new axle ?

I just had one straightened. It cost me 60.00 plus shipping. Look in the back of Dirt Wheels for an ad called Bills Cycle. The place is in MA. and he did a great job on mine.

I have had the axle straitened on my banshee by a local machine shop...it was around $40 or so.

I am ready for a new one. when I ride on hardpack, I can still feel the wobble of a bent axle. It did hold up for about 6 months after I bent it the first time.

If you bent it once..i'm sure you'll bend it again

Go spend the money and get a lonestar, Durablue..whatever and you'll never have another problem

When you get the axle straightend, it will last for a little while, but it causes it to become weaker. The axles on yamaha's narrow out on the tip, and then get bigger toward the hub. This is where I have bent most of mine. Bending it back is only a short term fix. But if your not going to beat it to bad, then try this route.
