I think any of the one's, Z-400 and cloans, 05 Predator, or the Raptor would make a good trail quad. They all more then enough power for trail riding, reverse and elec start. So the biggest thing would be, which dealer is closest and has the best service to take care of you if a problem comes up.

 

I have to agree with GE4x4...the Z's would really be a contender here.

thanks for all the input. it doesnt matter really cause 10 mins one way is a polaris dealer and 10 mins the other way (2 diff roads) is a honda/suzuki/kawasaki/yamaha dealer so lol thats not a concern (the dealers)

 

I'll say the z/kfx 400 also.

 

i love my raptor in the trails, it has good handeling (despite what some may say) and more then enuff power to get you through it.

 

Raptor is great in the woods and stingy on fuel. i did 60 plus miles saturday and the warrior with me ran outta gas and the z400 ran outta gas and i had to drive back up in the woods and pick em up with the truck. we sorta got lost and monkied around tryin to find our way till they went dry then i hooked up with a lost group of motorcyclers and we decided to do some more trail riding on the way back. lol couldnt find the right road
