I can't wait til early July. I'll have my zilla repainted and i'm gonna go wild for the holidays. Okay schools not bad its the homework. I'm in Ireland and I get on the bus at 7.45 am get off it at 5pm then do two and half plus hours written homework the learn whatever. I can't get to ride my zilla while i'm at school too much. So I'm gonna rip here down and put it back together so a night I won't be terroriseing the neighbours. Unless something goes wrong and the tool box gets kicked around the garden. im in tenth grade and somehow i got stuck in the 8th grade lunch but i guess im gonna have to make some 8th grade friends LOL ya right.... but it sucks

 

back to school for me tomorrow...IMO it's better as you go up...elementary sucked, middle school was better, highschool a hell of a lot better, then college is the funnest of them all. Granted you have to work much harder...IMO, you still have more fun

 

dude here in ny we start sept 7th and there voting on either longer days or a longer yr but as it is we dont get out till june so thats 10 months ugh a longer yr would sux!!

 

college is deff the funnest but me ima freshman sooo highskool aint gonna b exactly a walk in the park expasially w/ freshman friday and all but hopefull my the end opf the yr ill b good but my classes suck becuz i have 1st period upstairs 2nd downstairs 3rd upstairs and back and forth all day ima lose madd wait this yr from running to all my classes and today we had freshman orientations and me and my g/f lost out group i was lik darn [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] haha ight well good luck to all of u this yr and remeber o yur h/w b4 u ride yur quad unless yur parents tell u otherwise or u got study hall first period all yr lik i do YESS!!!! deff a score

So I guess after dropping out of school or trying to get a job with only a high school diploma, you'll still be living at home when your 35, still in the tiny bedroom with Britney Spears posters on the wall, still having your mom do your laundry, and still asking your Dad for $5 to put gas in the quad that HE bought you.

School and education is your future. Get the most out of it and learn all you can instead of slacking and whining. Get out of high school, and get right into College for at minimum a 2 year technical or associates degree, or better yet a 4 year Bachelors degree.

The standard 40 hour work week comes to just over 2000 hours a year. If you're happy to settle for a $10-15 an hour job, that's only $20-30K a year and you're not going far on that.

To sum this up, if you want a nice house, lots of toys, and living the good life, get smart and get a good education, it's the stepping stone to the future of your life.

Ask yourself how much salary you need to have the style of life you want, set some goals, aim high, and success can be yours.
