Dean Graham Australian Imposter in Dirt Wheels.
#1
Ok, I open up the October 2004 issue of Dirt Wheels and on page 16 "Over the Bars" I see my friend's highly custom Raptor. Wow, Terry is in Dirt Wheels! Congrats.
Now, some of you may know Terry or "Afterburner" as he is known on the forums. Maybe you have seen his rocket powered raptor on albaaction.com. It is a sight to behold. And seeing that rocket fire down the drag strip in person is something to behold.......
and then I read the script........"Our nEW zEALAND pal (he must be a good friend of Dirt Wheels to pull a con like this off) "DEAN GRAHAM", has sent us yet another example of what our "Lord of the Rings" cousins like to do....... (What, dream that they have a raptor as fine as this?)
Now, I do give them credit, the rocket booster does kind of look like some type of wild exhaust, but dont stand behind it. (Unless you got a dog to cook). And the wings on it are modeled after a very familiar aircraft. Hmmmmmmm. They even recognized the nitrous tanks.
What they missed was how an Aussie (which reference to Mel Gibson) or Kiwi (New Zealander) has an Alba Powersports sponsored ride......in the south seas?
Those of you that know Terry, give him your regards. He worked hard on this bike. Too bad that there are dreamers in the world that will sink as low as to claim glory for a bike they had absolutely nothing to do with.
Ride on Afterburner.

PS. And Terry, it goes without saying, (you knew I couldnt keep it in), that your Rocket Powered Raptor is the finest machine my Bombardier DS 650 has ever towed, roosted or dragged around on a leash! ROFLMAO. Love ya man. .....Hey, I had to say it...

We put a fire under someones butt, because I was assured that Dirt Wheels would do an article on the TRUE owner and his Rocket Powered Rappy.
Should make you Yammi Raptor folks happy! Its a sweet bike and Terry deserves it.
Ride on Afterburner.
