This vid definately shows how much flotation those cheapo knobbies have. You're hardly even throwing a roost. I gotta get me some of them for the Cinders.

Yes you guys are correct. The REASON we go to the cinders is to Hill climb not race. There are monster hills up there and 1 out of every 50 people up there runs knobbies. We can run knobbies because we can climb everything with knobbies and that is unheard of.
When you pull up to a monster hill with knobbies, people laugh and look away, then when you fly up it, it really makes a statement. We are duners NOT drag racers. we trail ride and PLAY race.
Why bring paddles when you can climb everything with knobbies
...good point about the cost (cheng shin tires are $29) and you would have to replace the paddle tires after every trip... gets a little expensive.
if both have knobbies then it is an equal race, right???

IMO...a pair of skat traks would do good for about 4 or 5 trips at the Cinders......My Sand Geckos have made 3 trips....and they are hardly showing any wear because of the one piece molding...a little heavy though.I.m starting to think that knobbies are the way to go....very challenging...I watched Raptor660fam's Dad go up a hill on knobbies that I wouldn't even attempt on paddles so I know they still hook and definatly float(the left side of $50.00 bowl)
