The CR cam will be hard on the rockers to some degree. That is where the coatings help out. One thing on the cam- It can make power to 10,000 rpm. It is Bob's cam not sure what it will do in other builders quads. If you are maxing out on the cam you are using now then maybe this CR cam will help you. I have seen a lot of dyno runs with a stage 2 cam and the guys were not close to making power at 8,000 rpms like they should have.

Dollarbillz- Glad you edited. To many hours went in to figureing that out .

I am suprised that no one out west has figured out a simple flaw on the stock cdi box yet. Makes me wonder if anyone makes power after 7500 rpms.

The cdi box showed a little improvement on my 686 from FSW'2, not worth the 350 bucks though. Then again with the stage 2 cam it is not needed. Make your raptor run around 10,000 rpm and you will need it.
My bike makes power all the way to the rev limiter with the x4 and im happy with that ive got 67hp at 9 grand im doing just fine and plus im just to damn cheap to go and buy a cdi box that may give my a 1-2 hp and make it rev to 10,000rpm for 400 bucks i could buy better things

do the research! Nutec is not all that! take a look at the fuel spec sheet on the nutec web page. Compare it to the other fuels brand spec sheets.

I ran the Nutec maddogg this weekend and the bike ran right about perferct, you have to get the timing right in order for it to really make a diffrence, atleast it did on mine.

when i ordered it thats the first thing he told me was that i need to mess with timing but id rather leave it and go buy sunoco or vp for 5 - 7 bucks a gallon and it works just as good if not better. nutec is a rip off for over 20 bucks a gallon just my 2 cents
