Default HOW RELIABLE ARE STROKER KITS

Been there Built that.

I had the 400cc Warrior stroker kit from Powroll...........its an .080 thou big bore and 4.5mm stroker crank if I remember right.

They ported and polished the head and even documented the gains on a flow bench (the only way to do it right)

.430/.430 lift cam up from the stocker .380/.382, and it totally woke up the motor.

Don't worry about "horsepower gains" its only a number. Yeah you'll be somewhere in the high 20's, if it makes a difference that it might be 28.5, 29.2, or even 30, then what-ever strokes your crank. <Grins>

You'll be able to hang with a beat 400ex's, but don't expect to kick butt on any raptor, predator, or 450 class machine.

The warrior is a great old machine, emphasis on old........

Personally, I'd save the ~$1000 money of doing the engine tear down and stroker build, sell the warrior, and put all the money towards a newer class machine like a predator. You'll be much better off in the long run.

Check out my Profile, and website for more detailed info on the Warrior. Flow Bench head porting data up there too.

I thought you meant your ONLY getting it stroked. Yeah, if you add the cam, high compression piston, etc... at the same time itl be a good bit more than a 3hp gain.
