loud atvs ruins ride spots

so many local ride spots were lost because of loud 2 strokes or worked 4 strokes with pipes they draw attention **** people off then they call the cops then noone can ride why do people need loud bikes is it for attention or is it just because its loud? no one bothers us when we ride quiet bikes they dont hear us .peopkle who dont ride atvs can not understand the fun in riding.so they hear these annoyingly loud bikes and then the cops showup.anyone else lose local ride spots because of this

I understand where you are coming from but i have 2 stroke and its pretty loud i guess you could say. I also have a truck thats loud, a 01 Z71 will striats and mufflers or catalitic converters now the reason that is is for attention and you get it(from people and cops but for the quad its not the same for me i want more poweer and having a loud exhaust is mostly more power and simply.... MORE POWER MORE FUN!

yeah thats true what about quiet cores do they really work or they cant copare to the loud exhausts.personally the loudness doesnt bother me .my buddy rides a banshee thats loud but when i ride with him it usually leads into a cop chase which can be fun if you get away but then you are always looking over your shoulder when you ride or the cops stay or patrol our ride spots

People use pipes for performance...some pipes are louder than others simply by the nature of the way they are constructed....96db is the magic number for most riding areas and soon it will be lower but alot of the pipe builders haven't yet figured out how to make a quiet pipe that also delivers a decent amount of horse power..so until then..you'll just have to deal with it...My WB R-4 pipe is pretty loud about 102db but i aint gonna run out and spend 500 bucks just to go down a couple of db until someone can build one that performs as well.
