Well I dont know man..... I certanly have experience with what your going through.

Im 24, have had numerous bikes, (Zilla, 2 400EX's, 250R, banshee, 350X, 200X, CR125, KX500) and Ive also had 3 street bikes.
My first was a CBR600F3, Sold it due to being broke. Quickly decided it was worth being broke, I missed the bike so much.
a month later, I bought a ZX-7R Kawasaki. (Ninja 750.. all black, GORGEOUS) Had that bike for a while.

Was FORCED to sell it for serious finantial reasons, (GF left me, stuck me with BIG rent all alone) and while I was trying
to sell it, It was stolen. I got screwed. Liability insurance doesnt cover theft. I was SCREWED!!

Anyways, time goes on... I get my feet on the ground again, get settled, miss the bike so much.. Buy an R1.

Current GF gets pregnant. (still pregnant..) I recently decided to go ahead and be responsible and sell the R1 so that
I dont die, and get a banshee with some of the money. (I already had a KX500..but no quad)

Thats what I did. Sold the R1 a few weeks ago, and bought a bad *** black and red 1997 Banshee with FMF Fattys,
20 over bore, ect. It rocks... But I feel regretful simply because I miss my R1 sooo much.

It was red and white, and absolutely the best looking streetbike around. (a red and white R1 is rare)

So thats my story. Moral? Make sure you realy want to sell that F4i before you do....

thx for the opinions guys.

yah id love to keep the F4i but thats to much for insurance for me right now being in college, and my parents wont let me get just liability because of several reasons. i really really really really REALLY would LOVE to keep the bike and fix it and ride it next season but i guess right now its just not feasible, but hey im only 19 so ive got plenty of time left. plus ill be less likely to completely destroy myself ridin a raptor than ridin wheelies down the interstate or something.
