Default oil for big bear??

hey, i just got all my parts (brakes, oil filter, spark plug) and put the brakes on, but i'm getting ready th change the oil, and we found some oil that is the right stuff (sae 10w30) but it has "impovred efficency" or some stupid thing like that on it, and i'm wondering if it will be safe for my clutch, the oil is the walmart brand, i forgot the name, like power tech or something, my brother used the same stuff in his quad last time he changed the oil, but i'm not sure if i feel ok about the oil in mine. if i have to buy different oil i want something fairly cheap, because i spent quite a bit on the parts and don't have much cash left.
thanks for the help,

Jarod, seems like you want to take care of your atv. The best insurance is a high quality synthetic oil. Amsoil 0w-40 4-stroke is what I would recommend if you want to keep the Big Bear over the long haul. My '89 Yamaha Warrior is still running strong using Amsoil.

The owners manual should say what you need. I think its 10w 40, and no fiction modifiers,... basicly SG oil. Any brand you want, regular or synthetic.
