Default Raptor repair estimate

Hello,

How much should I expect to pay for parts and labor on an '01 Raptor that the cam chain broke on. The exhaust valves got bent, intakes are fine. Needed two valves and a cam chain, oil change.

Thanks all!

Well, the oil change is just a given expense. They wouldn't give it back to me without oil.

I'm not sure but I'd say you are at least $300 short on the labor.

Hmmm, if you think about it, in the time you took to log on and write this post just to ask people what they THINK it MIGHT cost, you could have called a reputable shop and gotten an actual price. DUH !!!

Gee Quadbart, you know I never would have thought of that. Perhaps I already have done that, and was checking on the validity of that quote.

Let me ask some more specific questions for you:

How much is the normal rate per hour charged by reputable shops?
How does one find a reputable shop?
If you are so smart, why did you buy a Raptor?

Thanks,
