I have a friend who bought a Banshee. He rides it so slow that I was wondering if he could put one of those orange triangles on the back and ride it on gravel roads. The only hard part of riding with him is that he wants to paint it black to represent the model T that it is modeled after. I am concerned that he will be difficult to see when I look back and he might get lost on the trail. Should he wear a hunter orange hat, or just carry a cell phone? Can a person call a cab from the woods if the trails are wide enough? Just wondering......

well I really dont see the point, If he has a banshee he will no doubt be infront of your 400ex, so maybe if you shoved the orange thing up your tail pipe he would make it down the road just fine, If not just ahead of you, but maybe way ahead of you. So look on the bright side yours is already bright red or (now available in) bright yellow so everyone can see your loser self Early so they have time to slow down their yamaha to keep from rear ending you.

just had to say that if you think you wanna come into the Yamaha forum and make a cute little honda Post.

Hey hak, I get it! This is just like your should I post. Why isn't your buddy coming back with something to say? Anyhow, some people just can't take a joke. Especially all the Raptor owners.(let's see what we get from that)
I'm going riding!

Wow you guys need to vent! To bad there wasn't a forum you could do it in. You could call it "Rage On!" You could go there if you needed to let off steam. If you got a beef. Or just want to be blunt. You could do it there.

I do not know why. I think he doesn't read religiously like some of us do. I will say this... I always wanted to own a Banshee, but I couldn't justify spending $6000 on a kick start machine. I had a Quadsport from 86 to 99 and I was trying to decide between a Warrior and a Banshee, since my friends own a dealership that has EVERYTHING except Honda. Bought the Warrior since it was closer to the Quadsport and $1000 cheaper. They then got a 400ex that a guy owned for a weekend on trade for a 4x4. I rode it and bought it. It killed my Warrior that I did a ton of work to. I like the 400ex due to living in Iowa with trails and backyard MX tracks and 4 seasons. If I lived out West or South, I would own a Banshee. I'm not really partial to a brand. As long as it does what I want it to, and it does not break. I'm happy.

Speaking of the Craptor, I have several friends that have them ordered. I know of 15 that are sold in IA already. Since all of these lame people who have never seen one think they are the greatest, I am on a mission. I have approximately $1000 to spend on my motor to be equal in price to a Craptor. Can anyone say "latest ATVSport" I think there was a 440kit that was oh lets say 1 full second from 0-60 on the Craptor. I know what everyone is thinking...."But Hakmazter, it only went 60 and they spent $12,000 on it." True, but the motor wasn't the expensive part of the bike and since I have only $1000 to spend. I still have .9 seconds to give up for more top speed and will still be a bike ahead. Won't they all cry.

Hakmazter- Hey I am from DeSoto and work in Urbandale. I assume you must be talking about the folks down at Chariton for the Dealer that sells EVERYTHING. Where do you do most of your riding at? We ride up at Madrid along the river alot or down around Booneville. Used to ride over on the east side of DesMoines alot. Heck might even of seen you there before.

The sad thing is if you have a 4oo ex modified to their specs for $1000, ill still beat you to 61 mph because thats all you got. And given that your a second ahead of a Raptor it takes all of a second to pass a banshee at top gear according to the banshee vs raptor drag times. So I can see how you would be happy to go from 0-60 in 7 seconds but in 2 more seconds a Raptor will be at just under 80mph and going right by you. Just admit it, you cant afford the $ 1000 you mentioned because if you did you wouldnt waste it on a 400EX, you would atleast have bought a banshee like the one you are trying to trash and put down.

You just can't sleep at night knowing the DaNgErOuS ToYz stock SHEE is faster and will go farther than your terd (.00400 Exlax) if I pulled the plugs and all four tires.
As for the rape-tor it just does not cut it for me cosmeticaly.I want to ride something/one that is beautiful. The Raptortis is like a fat chick.
