i have a 2003 raptor,when i start it there is a loud grinding nosie that sounds like its comine from the tranny..it tends to do it more when im gettin it warmed up..im thinkin it might be the starter cluch sticking ?

I guess thats a problem on all year Raptors.

You'd better get the LA designs bearing....not Yamaha.

Yeah i think its the one way too...i was messin around with it and seeing what made the sound stopa and after i started it then pressed the starter for about 2 sec the sound would stop...the started cluch is probly sticking and grinding

Has the L&A oneways been holding up? I heard of one failing.
