4SW, Show us who robertson is, come out of nabraska to race that would be fun, i still have my cross state rides planeed very soon, no place like glamis on earth...the best will be at glamis on that date..

Always a smooth runway to let sheer hp shine. Dont really have to worry about pit holes and surgewave type whoops.LMAO.j/k, kinda

I agree, the best will be @ Glamis on THAT date though.

Well in defense of Mark Robertson lets do alil backgroud. If you Ran in the NHRA circles you would know who Mark Robertson is. Mark Robertson has been in the NHRA circuit for 20 years and been RACING/RIDING and building Motorcycles, ATV's, 900hp Helicoptor Turbine Speed boats, Jet Ski's, C&C design for Dodge on there prototype Vehicles,
Turbo Hyabusa's, Turbo Dodge Vipers and holds a IDBA Drag Racing World Record His GAS powered Carbuerated Kawi Drag Bike ran an 8.32 in Baton Rouge LA> in 1986. Not to mention has assisted on the Patrick Racing 150 hp world record setting Yamaha Roadstar Warrior. The Same Nigel Patrick that makes the Engines for Von Dutch Cycles and has been seen on The Jessy James Motor cycle Mania 1 C&Cing the Engines for the West Coast Choppers. Nigel and Mark have been Best Friends for 20 years.

Mark Robertson does most of all his own work in house, his shop has a C&C mill, a Serti Valve Machine, DynoJet Dyno, lathes, presses, boreing and Honing machines and all the machinist tools you can imagine. Robertson was also a Machinist and piston Designer for Wiseco in the late 70's early 80's.
Mark Robertson has built many Raptors, albeit I guess he's more into Quality not Quantity. Not to mention Raptors are not the only thing he builds. I guess it's easy chumping out Raptors Day after Day, but Money Talks! He has been watching these forums for awhile and has decided
it is time to Drop THE BOMB. So the Next Raptor that comes out of the Robertson Shop will Travel the Country. The C&C has been running from dawn to dusk lately[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] . So if you think Mark Robertson is some PoDunk Builder from Nebraska you are sorley mistaken.




Well 14, Kenz knows who Robertson is an the only reason anyone knows who Craycraft is, is you incessantly run your Mouth.
We can use the strip, or bring some poles and Rope and an independant flagger. You want to race you must sign in and get a wrist ban. We can come up with a better way before then.
I'm sure all the builders can be pursuaded to come and Run especially if it is a chance to be the one to shut you up.

thanks for the info, and i agree Dumont is the best hill shoot hill for that, but 4sw rocks when it happens....

Id rather ride dumont then glamis but it's just the feeling you get for the season opener..

Best drag hill IMO is SM utah, then SM nevada, THEN dumont, THEN glamis. Taking into consideration the size of the hill and its ridability

I dont need that long of a hill, i just need 400' or so to pass someone...to much on the engine to ride 800' under a load....

But they do it all the time...

yes, I went up against the Dirtworx drag set-up over-ridden tranny raptor, it puts 5 or so on me out of the hole, but is not leaving me or gaining anymore, it's a good runner.

never saw Dugan line up against it, but dugan and I are just a coin flip on who gets the better hole shot on each other and run pretty even.

There was also another Raptor there, had F.A.S.T. on the tank, said he had a 690 Sparks, with 12.5:1, and Sparks high-rev cam in it , I remember this cause he said he had to wait 6 or 8 months for the motor,
raced him a couple of times, put 3 or 4 lengths on him, was supposed to get together and race his buddy that had a faster Rappy, but didn't see them the rest of the wknd.
