Brad spends more time in the yamaha forums telling us how great the predator is than most forum members that actually own yamahas. So the polaris and yammi guys both know where to go to get a hold of him.

See, that's the problem tho. If it's in the yamaha forum, it turns into a 7-100 page flame fest. Yet, in polaris forums, I see much negativity toward yamaha. With the general consensus of If you don't like it, get out of the polaris forum. Lets have a level playing field.

yfz......Was it I who threw it in your face?? If so, I meant no harm by it. I just like to discuss the differences, and argue the facts about them. I truely believe there will be more heard from the predator than you all think.

The yfz is fast, and continues to be fast clear through the pipe and airbox mods.......but once we start into the motor, the pred will slowly be reeling you in....and by the time 5k is spent, you will be left behind.........If you won't admit to this, there is something wrong with you.




yfz.....have you even ridden a pred yet?? If so, what was done to it(and was it done right?)? You can't tell me if you rode a slightly modded one, that you weren't somewhat impressed(or different word choice, that maybe you thought less of the pred until after your ride)......

and i have ridden a pred. i rode the on in the pictures i was not impressed .
i guess you have never built a 4-stroke because i now of rapys with that have spent alot of money trying to keep up.
and a rapy has a lot more power and torque to start not including the cc's
you just go out build your beast then come back and call one of us out
no use in talking about how fast they are or how fast they will be i dont care until you can show me

 

ok man.......no use in trying to argue the facts then.....if you seriously think your slightly(and I mean slightly) modded yfz can keep up with a 3k(in mods) pred....you are very funny. Someday(which could be a few years) I'll look you up again....and we will see. Of course, you have to keep your yfz modded the same......and if you don't I'll still win. I know the facts.....The high power rappys are fast, they are about the only 4 stroke faster(and not by much) than the high power preds........but I have no money.....so I suck.....

Brad come down to Dumont or Glamis you name the time and place I'll show what a stock YFZ can do.

I wont lie it has a pipe, intake, and the ol' cam mod. I will bet my right nut that I will smash on your (3K in mods) predator. You have to be smoking some good stuff because no matter how many mods you put in that over weight beast, it will not take out the slightly modded light as air YFZ.

 

DrDune......can any rappys beat you(like 686's and 730's??)....because some of our high dollar(maybe more than 3k) preds can run right with them......


I can't come out because I have nothing to show yet....no money at the time, I'm making mods slowly though......

 

Oh by the way Doc.....these "over weight beasts" are weighing in at about 315lbs.........IMO its going to be a hand full for your "almost" stock yfz......maybe not though.
