ROFL... you 2 are full of ****... that shoot out was BS... they didnt have the same mods... all the pred had was a WB slipon and other useless mods. (hubs and such) the 450 had a full FMF powerbomb and the z had how much cash into it? and it still couldnt beat a piped 450? i think even thats BS... poeple who believe the mags need to get out more... all there stuff is BS.


the pred cant hook up... and beat most quads... but it will not beat a 450 with equal riders.

 

our good friend has a 03 predator with new razor 2 tires, and a HMF slip-on exhaust. it is the biggest POS ever built. we were out trail riding, and we switched up quads. the pred wouldnt wheelie no matter what you did in the dirt and grass and sand. it handles like its absolutely worthless. id rather a blaster than that thing. in a drag, its only good on road and only top-end. my friends z smokes it unteil he tops out, thats with his full Bill ballence and pro-design filter and 12tooth front sprocket. jumping-its such a freaking pig, its so gross in the air, the susension is decent i guess, but its so hard to get up to speed on that POS. hopefully for 05 they made it worth something with the new changes. sure its fast topend stock, but everything else is worthless on those quads.

 

predator would get smoked by a yfz...end of discussion, think about it...if a raptor and pred are close in a drag and a raptor gets smoked by a yfz, then how the h3ll does a predator beat a yfz??????

 

i saw a endurance races last night,12 hours of close races in the
sands,the pred look ridiculous in the bumps and whoops,that quad
seem not right balanced at all,the most quickest of the race was
yfz 450 and 450r.the honda was really hauling *** in the bumps
section,even a 400ex seem to handle better than a pred in those
conditions,the modified z and kfx was good also,only the ds
was eating dust.and guess what,the banshee won the race!!
so don't tell me 2 stroke aren't good anymore yet.

 

exactly, pred is crap unless its on a long stretch of strait road. end of story

 

Ya i really doubt the pred can beat a yzf considering that i was smoking a pred all day yesterday on my Raptor

 

we went to a drag last night. 57 quads, evweything TrX's, YFZ's, Raptor's, you name it it was there. Out of all those bikes no one was runnin stock. In the final race all that was left was two '04 Predators so dont run your mouth till you have seen it.

 

wow pal, so 2 ppl have a lil $. in stock trim, preds are total crap unless on pavement.

that wasnt my point. There were more mods on the Yfz's and Banshee's than on those pred's when i talked to the guy that won the thing all the mods that were done to the engine and intake/outake was a k&n filter, lte dual exhaust, and it was runnin on 98
