rebuilding a 2 stroke is a lot easier than doing a 4, less stuff to deal with.
now, as I'm sure you know, Warriors and Banshees are totally different machines, act different, handle different and are just opposites. If you want a sweet fast bike that will hang, a Banshee is a good choice, they're very reliable when taken care of and you can throw a midrange pipe on it and have a good trail machine as well. I'm not sure I'd throw loads of cash into a 14 year old machine. If you get a banshee, you must put a Pro Design Pro Flow air filter adapter plate on it to ensure no leaks, as the stock filter setup is prone to do.

For your style of riding the banshee is the bike for you. now i have a banshee and i do pretty much you do on it plus some MX and let me tell you i love my shee. If you want to hang with your freinds then the shee is the bike that will hang with them and hang them out to dry all at the same time.
I know money is your issue but if you can i would do my very best to get the shee- YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
