well if speed doesn't matter to you go with the kodiak

 

My dad has an '02 Grizzley that he loves, he has about 3,000 miles on it. They run real good. If i had the decision i would go w/ a grizzley.

I used to own a 04 kodiak 450 and it was a very good quad. About 2 months ago I sold it and bought an 05 grizzly. There is a big difference between the two and if you have the cash definately buy the grizz. Sooner or later your going to want more power, so you might as well get it right the first time. Learn from my mistake, it cost me an extra $2000. There is a huge power advantage with the grizz and the Kodiak went about 55 and the grizz runs about 67 according to the speedometer. If you plan on getting bigger tires the Kodiak bogs just a bit and you can tell. The grizz just keeps going. This is just my 2 cents and I hope this helps!
