Default 3500 FT to 7000 feet

i am taking my blaster up to 7000 feet in the white mountains this weekend, i am using my stock pipe and silencer, i have never changed the jetting. i have a kand N filter in the box with the lid off. i was wondering if i would absolutely need to re-jet, or could i just take the lid off? or take the snorkel off? or do i need to go to a dealer and ask them for a new jet? the thing is that we are leaving tomorrow right when i get home from school and i need to know fast!!!!!

what should i do

hurry!

Blasters are pretty rich from the factory. I live at 3600 and ride up past 7000. I would suggest at least pulling the lid off the airbox. Don't get too worried about rejetting for that one ride in my opinion, it should work fine.

I go down 3 sizes with the Raptor when I go to the Cinders...thats at 7000 feet....but thats a 4 stroke....bring some jets with you just in case but just pulling your lid off should do the trick....with a new head on you probably want to stay a little rich anyway till it breaks in.

not a new head, just cylinder is bored, as long as it runs okay, and doesnt screw anything up i will be happy.

would be nice to be able to pull some wheelies though, i wont be able to get the jets tomorrow so i will just hope taking the lid off will work.

i am running it at 25:1 until i have almost 2 hours on it. is that wat u mean by rich? or the fuel/air mixture?

thanks for the quick response!
