Default Winch Questions

I'm interested in purchasing a winch for my 01 Big Bear. Actually, I have 2 Bears, so am interested in purchasing 2 winches. I know a little bit about winches, just by reading about them and looking on Ebay for them. Question is and probably a long debate about them also: what is one of the better winches to go with? I see there are numerous brands to go with, but would like some input what people think is better than the rest. I also need a mounting plate and a fairlead. A lot of winches I see on Ebay don't come with one. Anyone know where I can get these parts, and an estimate on what I should pay? People have some winches up on Ebay for a lot cheaper than from a dealer, and was wondering if the quality of these are worse, the same, or even better than that of a dealer. Thanks for any and all help.

i would say if your putting a winch on both go with the warn 2500lb or 300lb, but if you wanna be cool then you should go with the warn 4000lb winch, it says no for atv's , but they fit, my friend has one on his 2003 big bear 400 and he has the multi mount, where the winch can detach from the front and be mounted in the rear. it can pull any out of anything,,,,,, Sideways.
