raptor cam install

Default raptor cam install

yeah nothing against you or anything. i was just confused then i started thinking of when we changed a cam in my car.... i was like wait you dont need to reseat the valves...just check the clearances on them....i would like to get a hot cam stage 1... are they worth it? how much hp in the mid range and highj range will it add?. and will my stock rod be alright

Default raptor cam install

The stock rod should be fine. I would say wait on the stage 1. I have a stage 2 on my 686 and I like it, but I think I would rather have gotten the new Craycraft cam. Has anyone tried his new cam on a 686? If you go with the stage 1, all you have to do is the cam. Anything else and you will need new springs.
