STOCK RAPTOR 350 IN THE WINTER
#1
Hey all, I just purchased a 2005 Raptor 350, obviously it is all stock. I live in Canada, however we do not get tons of snow, it gets cold bot not a whole lot of snow. I am wondering if I can ride my stock bike all winter without doing any specials mods?

Nope you don't need to do anything.
Though I live in Canada too and what I do different in winter then summer is (unless you have a heated garage) heat the engine with a ready heater or something if it is fairly cold out -10c or below usually is my borderline. and I let the engine idle a little longer then in summer also.

Look at the viscosity of your oil you put in the quad for winter riding. You may want to change to a viscosity rating more suited to the cold temperature riding you will be doing for the winter. Thankfully, I live in the desert and winter is perfect riding weather.

I ride my Warrior year round ... only thing I suggest might be some good tires for snow.
