Default quick question about the yfz

Hey, i got a 04 yfz last week and i'm going upstate to ride it for my first time tonight. I just had a quick question about the sound it makes when you start it up and its running. Im not use to this bike so its alittle different for me but are you supose to like hear everything moving around in there. I had an 01 scrambler before this and i never really heard things in the engine moving around. If so its fine, just wanna make sure its all ok!.....

Thanks

How many hours does it have? if you just bought it and its new did you break it in? It might be the valves bring it back to your dealer before it gets anymore damaged.

If you need to know.. since its brand new and you never heard it before then i would assume its fine.. if not then u got a prob.. go to your dealer!!!!

I work at a Honda/ Yamaha shop, and I've never heard of a single cam run smoother than a twin model, unless it's half way in the gutter. Bill

Default quick question about the yfz

Holy crapp its a monster.... I was racing around all weekend with it and i ripped my friends honda 400ex with intake and a pipe. It was pretty close in the begining (i wasnt reving it too high for the break in) but once i got into 4th, the race was over.........I am so happy with this bike, its not even funny...........

Ride on, George
