Default Cheapest mod. for speed...

I noticed that when I went from 4.5psi to 6psi I gained about 3mph on topend on my 01 Raptor with stock tires. Anyone else found similiar results? Can't prove it, but seems like to bike pulled faster.....

Yes, higher tire pressure increases the tire's diameter and therefore changes the final drive ratio resulting in higher top speed.

If you get a smaller rear sprocket or larger front sprocket you can increase speed as well. But if you get a larger rear or a smaller front you can increase your accelleration. So unless you ride at over 70mph all of the time and need more speed, then I suggest the latter.

would you just put a cam with a piped raptor? or should you put a higher comp piston in it too?

It costs nothing to uncork the exhaust and remove the airbox lid. aka hillbilly speed!

I was going to say larger front or smaller rear sprocket, but maddog beat me to it.
