My brother and i have been tryin to gather info about a boost bottle on a blaster. So far its been mixed reviews. Some people say it works. Some say it doesnt do anything. Some say it works a lil bit. Were gonna put one on anyways and see what happens. Really its just a cheap way to have a powervalve on your machine.

as far as i know the boost bottle is designed to trick the engine into thinking it has alot more air than it normally does becuase it is all kept inside the bottle. so it supposedly makes it have more power. that is just the concept i dont know if they work or not becuase i have never had a 2 stroke worth putting one on

Boost bottles fake out the engine making it think the carb is closer to the transfer port outlet, when inlet pressure drops with a quick punch of the throttle it feels like an accelerator pump shot, so it doesn't add horsepower just some responsiveness to throttle movement at the lower throttle positions.
However this concept was first used on dual carb set-ups to regulate them and keep them equal but companys have tried to adapt this idea to the blaster and other single carb atvs.
On a single cylinder, single carb set-up it won't do anything but give you somthing shinny to look at.
