I am wondering if 1998 was a good year for the Banshee. I found one for $3200 with pipes, dual 32mm carbs, boost bottle, and kn filter. Is it a good deal? Should i get it? any info would be gladly accepted.

Don't jump into anyting without doing a little research. 98' was 6 years ago, and if that shee is still running on its original top end then it might be getting a little sloppy. The best thing to do first is check to make sure it has good compression and then go from there.

$3200 dose seem a little hi for a 98 Banshee with just pipes and Carb's...... The boost bottle is a joke, its not worth anything....

With 32s and stock porting it might a bit sluggish on bottom end, not horrible but not as strong as stock. On the otherhand it might have a tad more top end, though not as much as it would get with porting to compliment the carbs. As for years, yamaha dosent like to change things other than plastic color.
