I think I am goin to get the griz honestly. I don't feel like messing with the Belt everyone talks about on the P700. Thanks for the replys guys, after looking through the forum & doing some homework on my own the griz will be the best for me I think. Again thanks, maybe i'll get to wheel with some of you guys later in the year!!

You hit on one of the three big differences. The cvt in the yamaha is much more troublefree...check posts on the a/c and kawi belt troubles, vs yamaha belt problems.
The other big differences, are the irs on the yami, and solid axle kawi. They both have their advantages, basicly, the irs has more articulation, and softer ride. The kawi is more stable and has a more predictable feel in corners.
The last difference is the locking diff. The kawi is almost instant, and can work on the fly, even with the wheels spinning. The yami takes a few seconds sometimes to lock, and wont lock with the wheels spinning. The advantage with the yami, is you wont need to hold the lever in, to keep them locked, the button holds the lock til you disengage it.

Hondabuster summed it up as good as it can be I think. Only thing I can add is if you have any chance to drive these two, you really should to see what you like best and what fits you best. You can get a lot of good advise on experiences with different quads on here, and you can also get a ton of biased "Get this one!!!" crap too. Check them out and get the one you like. Good luck.
