Reading around a little I saw that people stud their tires for winter riding. Is this strictly for ice riding or does it help out in snow. I have stock raptor 660 tires, with a good amount of thread on them, and I was wondering for doing trail riding in snow would studs help, also how do they stand up to pavement because I need to drive on pavement to get to the trails. Would putting one or two studs in each thread give me some better traction.
