Default 686 starts now!!!!

Got the L&A design and new sprokets and chain on thursday, really like the way the L&A looks it is a very good design and should hold up very well. It took about an hour to tear it all down and put it back together, the sproket set from primary drive looked good, it was weird to have stock gearing again!! ANYWAY the o-ring was broken in 4 places so I guess it just got brittle after got hot but it was worth a try, after I got it all buttoned back up it started right up with no problem felt and sounded like a real clean and strong engagement, must have helped replacing the 52 tooth gear also the stocker was all trashed so I bought the whole kit from L&A it was only 259 shipped and that came with the one way, the 52 tooth gear, new bolts, and both gaskets so not too bad of a deal I guess. It was very easy to put together, you need a flywheel puller and a strap wrench to hold the flywheel(it's tourqued to 110 Lbs) but that was the only tough part. Would be a piece of cake with two people but one person can do it if hold your tonge just right All I got left is to finish jetting and I'll be ready to race in November. Anybody at 5000 feet elevation running dyno jet mains and needles with close to the same mods as me?? what are you set at with mains, a/f screws , and clips set at what?? just want to compare

My sugested starting point would be:

Needles: One position leaner than center.

Mains: 165/170

Also, try searching. There are a lot of threads on Raptor jetting.
