banshee problems!!!!!!!!!!!

Push the throttle lever until the right hand throttle valve index mark is centered in the right hand carburetor inspection window...... Hold the throttle lever in this position and check the left hand throttle valve index mark in the left hand carburetor window.... If the are the same, then the carbs are synchronized..... Make all adjustments with the left hand adjuster... DO NOT ajust the right hand carburetor adjuster... Slide the rubber boot off the throttle cable on the left hand side.... That is were you do the adjustments if necessary..... You will have to take the gas tank off to do this on stock carbs....

Dont be suprised if you can se a gap between the tips of the reeds and the blocks, but the larger the gap the harder it will be to start and the sloppier it will be on bottom end. You might also try flipping them over to get rid of the gap and make sure not to overtigten the screw because they will create a gap of its own. I still say swap the plug caps and see if the problem switches sides though. My RD350 did what your describing though and we had to fiddle with it for quite a while to fix it. It ended up being a timing problem for us, but I doubt thats your problem since a banshee has a CDI.

i havent checked the reeds yet, but they was in need of being sycronized. the left carb would barely open at full throttle, wouldnt even come up to the sight glass. gonna see what it will do after new plugs, it fouled the other two out before the adjustment. ill be back in touch, later.
