If,,I mean when, the two strokes die out, it wont be because or the four stroke racers, it'll be becaues of the environmentalists.

i like 2 stroke a little better just because of the massive powerband, by i also like 4 stroke....i really like both.

 

The 2-strokes certainly DO have an adrenaline producing powerband that is for sure![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

it doesnt matter to me, but ive only ever owned four strokes, so i guess i pick them.

 

I love my 250R compared to my 400EX. The 4 stroke just feels like a tank after riding the 250R. 2 strokes scream. the only 4 stroke that can scream like a 2 stroke is the YFZ 450!!.

 

I can definately verify that as I have ridden both 250Rs, and the YFZ![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

depends whether you race or just play
if you race 2 strokes
if you just play 4 strokes

 

4 cycles are usually much more reliable and require rebuild much less often. The new 450 4 cycles are getting light enough and powerful enough to run with the 250's. You also get better gas mileage because there is not as much "waste" of fuel. I've had both, but 4 cycles are the better choice[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] The smokers on showroom floors are going to be extinct in a few more years.
