Okay, the choice is really easy...

You said that he rides dunes and that money is not an issue, then go with the ESR or Jardine (it really doesn't matter which one, ESR puts out a little more in the midrange, Jardine weighs alot less)

DO NOT run a TC in the dunes, it makes awesome low and mid power, but it dies on top. GYTR and FMF are good trail pipes, but are not top choices for dunes or racing; there are definitely better pipes out there.

The dirtwheels shoot out was bogus, it tested only slip-on systems that were all corked up with spark arrestors and quiet cores.

If your friend wishes to run a mix of dunes and woods, then I would reccomend a Sparks system, just make sure it is a generation 5 or else the pipe will crack. Duncan is also very close to sparks in performance.
