Default GAS PRICES??

"americans. u all make me laugh. u complain about the gas prices all the time. when i go to the states, it is great to fill up my car. gas is about 75% cheaper than up in sudbury. when im in the states i dont care about gas mialige (sry bout the spelling). i stand on it everywhere. so SHUT UP ABOUT UR CHEAP GAS"

What everyone forgets is the reason canada's prices are so high, along with their GST tax ,is it funds among other things, their socialized health care. Us Americans are pee'd off because the prices rising do nothing for the tax base. No matter the price per gallon the tax is the same, 32.9 cents per gallon i believe. Not that I want higher taxes mind you, it's just that the oil producers and refiners are the ones getting the winfall.

Default GAS PRICES??

Back in the early 70's locking gas caps became popular because of the gas shortage and stealing. We might see them on the market again. Man I can remember seeing gas for 29 cents!!!

So what is the most expensive gas per gallon in the US now. Its about $2 here. Diesel is a freakin $2.30, it was always about .15 cents cheaper than gas til about a week after I got my Duramax back in July. Than guess what.....Diesel goes up, I swear the Feds were watching me on the satelite.

If you like the gas prices, thank the people who won't let us drill of the coast of California, Florida, and Texas and in the wasteland that is Anwar in Alaska. Thank the people who wouldn't let us build more refineries for the last 20 years. Even if we got the price of crude down, there aren't enough refineries to make enough gas to keep up with demand. Thank the people who demand different formulations of gas for every different city, which causes the refineries to have to shut down and reset up their systems to make each and every formula for dozens of cities. This cuts down on their capacity.
I believe in conservation. I just believe that it should be market driven. If someone comes out with a electric car or hydrogen fuel cell that works as well as my gas truck, I will buy it. I will not be forced to do it. I came up with a very cool design for a super off road truck using electric drive. I will not let it be forced upon the public. If it is worthy of being bought, then the American people will decide. Until then, I think that the Liberals in this country should stand aside and let us figure it out for our selves. When gas gets too expensive, we will find a substitute. The Democrats are trying to make it happen prematurely. Stop it.

Default GAS PRICES??

well, by me gas is free. you should all move down to tucson its great. My neighbors cars supply ample amounts of gas for my truck. the thing is you just have to get up at about 2 in the morning, get a hose, go to your neighbors car, open the gas cap, and start siphoning!
(j/k i dont do this, but what they dont know wont hurt me) as long as you take only like a gallon at a time they wont suspect a thing, they will just think their gas mileage is going down, which would create more business for mechanics!! its a win win situation!!

Rem, that is just a bad idea. And illegal to boot. Have fun getting caught!

Crude was over 55 a barrel yesterday, but I think it was down .60 cents or so at one point today. Who knows when it will peak.
