Default Did some stuff and now I have a question.

Went riding this weekend on my raptor 660 and then i took the airbox lid off and cut out some of that plastic inside that restricts air flow, then I put some premium gas in it for the frist time, and when I would be going at the top of some of my gear on occasion I would feel a light cut out for a split second and the back to normal, is it cause I need new jettings or what?

MIke.

I figure this I would wait, till maybe after winter, and then save some more and put a pipe and intake on it and then rejet, that sound good?

You will damage your engine significantly if you dont change your jetting now.

what do u mean??

I didn't pull the flaps out I just broke off the plastic that lead the air into the back of the airbox, so instead it dumps it right at the front.

With your airbox modifications your jetting is probably running lean through needle and main jet throttle ranges, If you leave it you can possibly hurt your engine.
