i think that describes every bike.
No, it doesnt. The banshee is actually the best or near it for many categories. It's not like a 300ex which can be "good for some things".

how many catagories do you consider? I would consider, flat track, tt, mx, xc, drag, and the pikes peak guys just to list a few off the top of my head. Of those catagories i could only see a banshee doing well in two of them possibly 3

Dune and drag come to mind with desert there too. MX leaves much to be desired, xc isnt all that great and flattrack/tt it is about in the middle. While it's not the best for these things, it still does a fair job of not embarassing itself. This bike is near the top is stock power and as you know has the greatest potential for straightline power.

I'm just trying to say that a statement like the one I made is not the same for all quads. The banshee is easily in the upper tier of performance atvs and only faulters when compared to them.

No atv has on-off power like the Banshee off the showroom floor (ever). I think Maddog's point was no other machine off the showroom floor is quite like it, but with the correct rider the terrain really does not matter. The power delivery and weight bias allows for the Banshee too have more pure climbing ability than any other sport atv IMO. Roll it off the showroom floor and let it idle for 15 minutes and she will boil over though. I can't believe Yamaha never upgraded the shocks though...they are horrible.

Ahh they work pretty good. My family in AZ runs them basically stock and love them. I wont fight with you anymore on this, its no big deal to me. I just think the banshee is a great atv and I'll leave it at that.

Did I mention how much they suck on a flattrack though?

I never had trouble with Banshee reliability. Are you referring too 300' drag only, or dune Banshees?
