ac 650 vs bf750 vs grizzly660 (all 05 models)
Planning to buy a utility atv this weekend. Done quite a bit of searching and still conflicted. I like the mrp, look, and feel (minus the footbrake) of the 05 AC650. The grizz was pretty nice as well, but doesn't seem as strong. BF felt a bit tippy and probably unecessary power.
That said, I'm looking for a machine that will push some serious snow with some mountain climbing in the summer. I live in MA with a 300 yard driveway and own 90 acres in VT. Seems that the 700lbs and v2 of the ac would do good...but maybe the grizz?...hmmm...then there's that bf750. Just hoping to make a good decision. Definitely like the Yamaha dealer best.
Any thoughts? Also, seems that the moose 60" tapered plow is the best, but would like more feedback on that as well.
thanks.

I agree that for plowing, it would be easy to just add weight to the racks as needed. This might be a better option since when out riding for fun, you would have a lighter quad. Any of these choices will have enough power to push a plow without any problems. Depending on how much maintenance/repair you can do yourself, having a good dealer can be a very important consideration when choosing a machine. Keep in mind that most people are brand loyal, and will usually tell you that the machine that they own is the best for everything.
Good luck!

If you want to climb hills then I would go with the Grizzly. It is very powerful and will climb almost anything without effort. It is light and agile on the trails and a real blast to ride. It is very easy to add some weight to plow, but why would you want to carry it all the time. I don't like the stock griz tires and it is its only weak spot. I have no complaints about its power and stability. The low gear is plenty for plowing and general towing.

The first guy had a good point. If you are into some serious plowing, the weight would make a difference. The AC and Polaris both are heavyweights, and if you wanted to go a step further, Bombardier makes a fat *** quad too. And of course they all have plenty of power.
you won't get a 650 and not have enough power. You might get one that will outrun another one, but you won't be underpowered with anybody's offering.
