Default Wolverine Suspention

The ride on Wolverine sucks compared to my buddy Polaris 500HO, his rides like a caddy.

I think it my rear shock it just does seem to absorb anything. Does anyone have any suggestion on what I could do to improve the ride?

I ride with a 500HO as well, and both of the bikes do give a different kind of ride. But they are two totally different bikes, he has Independent rear suspension, that makes a huge difference! and the Wolverine is a SPORT utility, so you do get more of the sport bike feel....

But you could try adjusting the shock setting. If you have already done that, i am not that familiar with aftermarket shocks, or springs.

You have two choices. 1st is to get a set of aftermarket shocks from works or fox or Elka, but just the fronts will cost you about $400 +/-. Your second choice is that you could find a set of Raptor shocks to put on it. There are some restrictions on what years will fit the back(I think?). I have not done this yet so you will have to locate somebody on this board that has done it.
