hey,guys.after looking for a year,i finally broke downand got the rapter 660.i waited for the 05 predator but wasn't impressed as i thought.The damn shocks on the predator do not have a drop out dampener.i looked at every thing and when i was picking the front end up on the predator,the shockers sounded like they belong on a tractor or something,well anyway my freind always told me go with yamaha you wont go wrong. so here i am new 05 660 rapter/blue.

 

congrats on getting the raptor. i was waiting for a 05 raptor before i bought my zilla, but i thought $2200 or $6200.... have fun on your new ride and always wear a helmet!

Raptors are the most complete bikes on the market, but I think that the 05 Predator 500 is right there with the Raptor 660. As you will find out there are many aftermarket performance kits. Beware... unless you have cash that has been put aside for upgrades you'll find yourself investing some serious cash into your bike. Price is where Raptors beat the competition....down south you can get a 05 Raptor for $5299.00 OTD. Anyone has anything better!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
