I just installed dynojet stage 2 kit with 144 146 jets and clip on 4th position. I have a high slow spark arrestor and modified the fins on the airbox. When I try to ride it it hesitates and backfires alot and when you let off the gas it stalls. Also the af screws are 3 turns out. Any suggestions??

 

Check that you didn't twist the throttle and choke cables when you reinstalled the carbs. Double check that the needle retainers are still in place. If they, even one of them, come out it will create what your speaking of.

 

Thanks, thats what it was. Me and my friend took everything back apart and one of the needles and tiny spring were loose and had pushed out a little. Its all fixed now and running like a champ.

After all the time and work we did on that today im glad its running better then ever !!

 

Yea, taking the carbs off is kind of a pain. I musta had mine off 20 times before i got it dialed in.
