2005 raptor
I just purchased a 2005 660r raptor. I am going to swap out the rear 20's for 22's ( DESERT RIDER ) . How may teeth on the front sprocket stock ? How many teeth up front do I need to maintain the stock accelration and top end ?
Suspension...what is the aftermarket front shock solution ? Six pack rack, any favorotes out there ? Skid plate protection, front ,rear ? Twist throttle ? suggestion ? Who has the best online raptor aftermarket parts selection ?
Thanks you !!

For shocks.. Elka Suspension Is the biggest brand ive heard. There are many others but as for the biggest name Elka is the way to go.
Most skid plates are the same. They all help protect your bottom but if it were my choice id get the thickest one. The GYTR looks great and its light. But for maximum protection look for thickness. Make sure you get the chain guard and break disk guard (Rear skit plate).
My suggestion.. for desert races i bet A-arm guards would help a lot.
As for the grab bar. The six pack rack would be cheapest at 6-PACK RACK (Prm-Atv.com)
Dont think about the twist throttle it will just be a waste of money. It works bad because the front end of the quad is heavy so turning and stuff is a pain.
Look at Rocky Mountain Atv They have a big selection on aftermarket parts.
Maybe try Nerf Bars. DG Fat Series are the best out there!!! Ive tryed so many other brands and do not buy AC!! The warrenty is horrible and customer support is bad also.
Other than that Welcome to the forums!!
