Default Problems with a brand new Blaster...HELP!

ok...my friends bought a brand new 2004 blaster...hasnt even been rode more than 10 times, and mainly it was on a road, with just a little bit of trail time. I was riding it today and noticed ( for the third time ) some red fluid dripping on the pipe and burning up. We have tracked it to coming from pinched cables, but i dont see why cables would have a red fluid in them. The first time it was the parking brake cable so i took that off. Then the 2nd time it was a clutch cable, and the third time i couldnt really figure out where it came from. Anyone else had this problem??? If we bought an aftermarket clutch cable would that solve it??
Now for my second question...when we took the parking brake cable off the little safety switch would not stay on...so i just held it shut with a piece of wire...i finally figured out tonight you can just tighten the bolt to hold the switch on, but i still want to the the right way to take off your parking brake with that safety switch there?? Thanks guys...

Brake fluid is usually red, have you checked all the brake lines?

well i thought about that but it just doesnt seem right...this is a really thick type fluid. It looks like the HP2 transmission oil but the leak isnt really anywhere close to the engine. Also dont worry about the parking brake question because i did a search and found the answer...but i still need help on the fluid going everywhere...

Check the vent hose. On the right side on top of the bottom end there is a hose that comes out of the transmisson. Its basically there to keep pressure from building up inside. It dosn't attach to anything on the other end so some might be dripping out. Usually the dealers who built the quad will route it up along the left side frame rail beneith the gas tank and under the front hood.

well would doing really long wheelies, stoppies, and bicycles ( side wheelies ) contribute to this?? Because that is basically all we do when the fluid gets everywhere...They arent home right now so i cant go check it but i will check sometime this week.

That could contribute to the cause. The only time I have ever noticed mine leaking was when it's upside down or flipped over.

The only time i have leaks is when i stand it up. I never had a problem with brake fluid, yet again i have crappy mechanical brakes.

I had a 2004 blaster that was leaking and what i was told is it was my shocks. I had the yamaha shock covers and they were getting stained really bad. SO, i asked around and i was told by two people that my shock was leaking. It only did it when i would hit jumps and do wheeles and things like that. At first we thought it was leaking from the engine because it would hit the engine and smoke....
