WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im speechless! ive been waiting to get rid of my X to buy a raptor and i finaly got my friend to meet me at the atv park today with his 660 that has been lowered for flat track racing and that thing hauled AZZ!!!!!!!!! there is no comaprasing between the x and the raptor lol haha but after i drove the Z400,Banshee and Raptor i would have to say if a drag the shee has it no matter what you have in your raptor if u get a modded shee just kiss ur raptor goodbye but in everything else i LOVE the raptor im just worried about everything brakeing becuase i heard about them being "Craptors" and they always brake! and the Z is good just the raptor will walk away from it though

any ways any hints and what has happend to your raptor that wasnt you fault?

 

The raptor got the nickname "craptor" because of it's first production year.(2001) It's a stigma that some people just can't let go of. If you get a 2002 or later model, you'll have a sweet quad.

Your wrong about the shee...the Raptor smokes it...at least mine does.

 

HAHAHAHA, yeah what ever makes you happy. A guy I know had a 03 that was well taken care of and the tranny grenaded.

 

ive also seen a good taken care of 2002 raptor blow its tranny

 

raptors only got the name cuz the 01 model cuz the tranny...but it was the first year they were out..theres gonna be sum bugs to work out..i have a 03 and nothing has gone wrong on it but the one way starter so i put a la starter in it and it works fine...the 04 have a lil better luck with the starter but still have sum problems after awhile

 

ahh sweet man when did u get the big upgrades done? last time i saw ur quad in that video i think u only had paddles and a pipe?

 

I have an 01 660Raptor, and have smoked banshees, yfz's, and predators, BUT,there are still a lot of much faster bikes than mine out there.
