How is the Big Bear 400 in Mud?
#34
take a look at my pics if you want to see a bigbear with tires on it...those are 25 inch...and it could easily pull more through thick mud...last week i went through a stretch of mud about 1-2 foot deep and it was all real muck...i went though in 2nd and it just bogged down maybe the last 10 feet of the pit...it was at least 75 feet long...that could be fixed with a pipe and airfilter

Ive had my 05 BB for about 5 weeks now. I can say it has been, so far, a very sure footed creature. I live in the deep south, so I know mud , and it seems to be very good swimmer. I used a tape measure to check my high water/mud line. 35 inches deep and not a sputter.
Mods include full chasis skid plate, swing arm , and a-arm skid plates, 2500 lb. Warn winch, and 26" ITP ATR"s.
So far So good.
