Closest DUNES to PENNSYLVANIA? IN, MI etc.?

I want to take a trip to some nice dunes, I did a little dune riding in New Mexico but thats a 26hr drive. I've heard there may be some in IN or Michigan???

where i live i can think of about 10pits and a few duens there's Silver lake in Michigan.... big place(nver been myself) it's about 2-3 hours from me tho...

Silver lake is the biggest dune area in MI open to ATVs (quads, jeeps and bikes). It is located about half way between Muskegon and Ludington on Lake Michigan. I have been there many times with the jeep. It gets so crowded on weekends that you have to get a voucher to get in at a certain time. Its a great place if you like dunes. Hope this helps.
