2004 Raptor 660 will not move when i release clutch.
#1
We got a quad stuck in the mud. We tried to pull it out with my raptor. After about 20 seconds the raptor will not move. The clutch handle has alot more spring to it on the release. Got it home and with the cluch all the way out it moves very little. If you rev it, it will not go any faster. Is the clutch burnt up? Or did something brake? Thanks for any help. Rich

That could be. We were only pulling the quad for about 20 seconds. How could a clutch go in 20 seconds?

The ooh so praised 660 broke there seems to be a quiet a few broke 660s if it aint one thing its another with them if it burned the clutch up in 20 sec's then wow i just dont see how it can happen that fast.

It broke doing something it was not intended to do. So i don't blame the machine.
I really like it alot and this is the first real problem i have had with it.

But it still shouldnt have burned that easily i pulled my dad on his atv which is a 95 bayou 300 about 480 pounds and he weighs about 280 so theres 760 pounds i pulled him about 3 miles and about a mile down the road to get back to the truck i had no probs except on hills he had to get off and drive mine while i got beside his and and ran beside it and helped pull it up the hill besides that it was good .
