Banshee big bore kit

I recently bought a virgin 97 Banshee. Only mod is a timing advance. Contemplating buying Vito's big bore regular rod kit. I weigh 275 and primarily trail ride, so torque is what I'm after. My thought is with the right port timing I could yield more usable power with the big bore than aftermarket pipes. I did this with a Polaris Scrambler 400 and had great results. I'll be curious to hear of any experiences or thoughts on the subject.

Lars,
like you I am a rather large person. 280 and 6'7", so I needed more power. I went with the trinity big bore kit, regular rod, and some after market toomey t-5 pipes. I also have the MX port job. I have goobs of power all over the power band, but low end power was dramatically increased.
It's almost scary now... the thing has so much power if will literally throw you off the back or pull a narly *** unwanted wheelie at the wrong time, but boy is it fun!
Just My $.02
