im supposed to race a 330R at dumont. Its just a sand drag up comp. hill. I supposed the guy im supposed to race has an ESR build 330R and I have a 690R raptor. Who do u think would win?

All depends on Portwork! A 330 ported by the right person will spank the Craptor. If properly ported and tuned the 330 can make about 55-60 hp. Is your Raptor capable of that power? Also, consider weight. The R weighs less than the Craptor. Tires? If he runs a TripleBuff or "drag" tire and you don't....................YOU LOSE![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

 

Personally I think the 690 will win.

 

I raced a Honda 330 on my low compression 686 and half tracked him....no sweat...He was a rocket out of the hole but by the first 50 feet he was toast

 

I'm with zillarider, the engine work,weight,tires,etc all come into play. A different 330 might have spanked you. Sparks, just race him and see what happens. 330's aren't to snooze at, so win or lose you dont have any shame.

 

totally depends on setup and power diff.

two years ago I smoked a CT racing 350 with my old 686 by about 8-10 lengths on china wall (very short) and now I would double that? but there are 330's out there that would smoke me setup right?

all depends ont he build, weight, setup, rider skill... too much???
