I wanted to know if anyone out there has had any problems with the cooling system on there Raptor 660. The cooling fluid has turned to sludge,almost like oil has got into it. The oil looks good, no antifreeze in the oil. Can't figure it out. Waterpump shaft looks good, no wear around the seal. I've either got oil getting into it somewhere or cooling fluid breakdown? Any suggestions?

 

Change your coolant. Then see what happens.

Never had any problem, just that every couple of months I have to refil my coolant bottle.

 

Never had the problem and have never heard of it either. My coolant is just fine, heck I don't even change it often, seems full to me all the time.

 

Had my bike since November 2000 and topped up my coolent once [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

and its real hot here!

maby thats coz its turned to sludge.......I better check.......LOL
