I currently have an '04 Kodiak 450. I like it alot. I have a buyer ready to buy it. Is it worth stepping up to an '05 Grizzly? Is there that much difference in power? Speed? Gas Consumption? Handling? etc.? Does anyone have any thoughts. Much appreciated.

 

power: huge....speed: noticeable...gas consumption: very noticeable...handling: noticeable...overall the Grizz is a much better bike stock to stock than the Kod...see if you can test ride one before you buy one just in case (for some odd reason) you don't like it...but i'm sure you will...happy quad shopping...

 

Seriously man, I would say you would have a lot quicker bike with higher top end with a 660. It will suck gas more, and it will ride a little better. My guess is that all the rest will be very similar to your 450 after that. I doubt the handling is really any better or worse.

 

Get some better tires as part of the deal and you will be super happy. It is an awesome machine.

 

the differance in power is comparing a corvette to a citation, lol. the griz will be faster, and better in most situations.
